it looked like your doing some shop work , hope it pays off .
The problem is that I do not have a shop, all the tools, and all the knowledge required to do everything I wanted done. As you saw, Carl and I got the old girl running at my house, and I did the front brakes in my driveway. Whether I keep it or sell it, I want the truck to be safe and reasonably reliable. I still work full time, so time is an issue as well. The shop I am taking the truck to is known for their work on classics, and I told them they could work on mine as filler work between other jobs because I do not need the car for a daily driver, and in return, they do not charge me full bore for everything. So far, it seems to be working out great for me AND the shop.it looked like your doing some shop work , hope it pays off .
Well, I am not sure where we left off, but the new floor for the cab is in, as is the new wire harness. The frame has been detailed and painted while the cab and bed were off. New oak planks in the bed with new stainless hardware and black powder coated hold down rails. The new automatic with OD has been installed and I have been driving it some, but will drive it more when it cools down as there is no AC! You can go to my playlists and choose the one for the Dodge truck and see the latest video at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8UO7i0P18eKn9NSrCyA5zw/playlists?disable_polymer=1Hi Bart
My wife and I were talking about this truck yesterday. Any updates?
I hope you are well.
Cool truck, got to love them. Here is my 52 B3B which has a 88 Dakota front clip, E body 8 3/4 with 3.55's SG, and a 56 Desoto 330 Hemi with EFI.

That would be awesome Bill! Tell your wife that we will try and work that out!!!Thanks for the final update. My wife really likes your truck and wants to see it someday. Maybe when car shows return we will go and meet you.
That is one cool looking truck you have there!!! Yes, ya got to love these old trucks! What is sad is that I don't have a really good choice of a person to give it to when I am gone that I would trust to take care of it! All I can say is that Black Trucks Matter!!! ;-)
For what it is worth, I know it is tough to let something go that you have put a lot of work in to. But on the other side of the equation, if you know that someone is going to love and drive your truck and get it out there to be seen, that does make it a little easier to let go.I have a friend and fellow FBBO member that really wants the truck, I go back and forth mentally on it but I know he will drive it far more than I do.
