upgrading rear end

I have the housing for an 8 /34 rear end out of a 71 charger, that i could either spend a bit on and slap it in my 73 charger, but i'm also purchasing a 440 so im not sure whether or not it would be wise to sell the 8 3/4 housing and slap in a complete dana. does anyone have any pros and cons of each option? Want to do a disk brake conversion as well and sure grip of course.

The 8 3/4 will be just fine and is cheaper. Rear disc is no problem for either one. Really comes down to how fat your wallet is!
