Need to replace my upper control arms, has anyone used aftermarket arms and been satisfied with fit and function such as PST arms? Or should I try to find NOS pieces?
Thanks
Mike
Thanks for responses, decided to have ball joints TIG welded to control arms, didn't want to go aftermarket and didn't want to pay for NOS, should be good to go.
I used Firm Feel tubular UCA to gain positive caster-fit like OE and worked out great with almost 4 degrees positive caster. Had a couple questions and Dick @ Firm Feel was very helpful and friendly!
Yup, they can be welded but I would just use 3 or 4 decent tacks so if you ever need to install new joints again, it won't be so hard to do and you won't have to go looking for more arms. Also, solid welding them will most likely distort the joint.
