I need help Have 64 Fury with big block, aftermarket radiator., I can't find the correct upper hose since radiator isn't oem. Can any body help?

Are the in and out the same placement as oem?

Pics or radiator info would be helpful.

don't know if they are the same. The radiator cap is in center of radiator and outlet is a few inches to right on the driver's side. It is a Champion radiator

That's a start. See if someone on here has the same setup as yours. I'm sure someone does.

I recently hooked my 383 up to a Champion rad in my 66. I used a hose that I acquired with some other parts. If I still have the tags I'll post pics this weekend of the part numbers

That sounds like a 68bb w/22" rad hose hookup to me. Mines got a 26" with outlet on pass.side now.

Order up some of this flexible stainless, couple of silicone connectors and your good to go. Just buy what you need unlike the kits on th market.

Great customer service too.

I used a Gates hose from amazon, P/N 20473 (i think). Also had to use a reducer as my radiator inlet was a smaller diameter Gates P/N 26390.
Not sure if my setup is the same as yours, Here's the best pic I have.

I had the same issue a couple of years ago when I purchased a new rad. I measured from the block outlet to get the desired vertical height, lateral offset, and diameter of the hose required. I knew that I needed a hose with two ninety degree bends, one on the vertical and one on the horizontal. I measured the offset required between these two bends. I bent a piece of wire to the center profile based on my measurements, and down to the suppliers I went. A sales person who was quite understanding went in the store room with me and we found a "cut to fit" hose in no time. If you do this mark down the hose number for future reference.

Use a rad hose for a 62 b body with 318 V8. You will have to trim the stat housing end a little shorter it but fits perfect.

Thx Mccoymail! It's perfect. I didn't have to use the adapter. But, like you said, a little trimming and it's ready to go!
