Hi all, can anyone tell me what size the upper rear shocks bolt size should be? My barn find car has one missing and I need to find the right size to order. I can’t order one from the USA as I’m in the UK, hence the request for size if anyone knows? 1967 Coronet

You all have some sort of trade embargo going on over there?
Those are available from a lot of vendors.

Most should be 1/2 inch in diameter Length is around 2 1/4 inch.

Just remove the other one and find a duplicate bolt.
It doesn't need to be anything special like a grade 8 or anything.

Yep. Factory was Grade 5, phosphate coated I believe.

Thanks all, as for the reference to a trade embargo, lots of US companies that used to trade with UK have quit doing so since the Brexit thing...happily Summit, Rockauto and plenty of ebay sellers are still cool with us and keep our cars running.
So, I’ve only had the car four days and whilst searching the trunk for various spares I found a brand new upper shock bolt and nut!
Appreciate the help.

Yes, I was pleased to also find a complete new carpet kit, Edelbrock inlet and carb and sundry other parts that I can use.

Wow, I think we all could use a magic trunk like that!
