used up trunk weather strip?

Anybody have one? or, can somebody run a string carefully around the top of the weatherstrip mounting surface and tell me the total length? I need to see if one will work on my modified trunk lid. Thanks. I don't want to buy a new one just to find out it is too short. Ghost

I don't believe any you buy new will be too short. They are generally all one length and you have to cut them to fit. Both mine were anyway.

I have a new unused one from Detroit Muscle Tech you can have for free if you want it. All the ones I have used are too long and need to be cut to fit.
