V-8 K frame

Hi. I'm looking for help. I bought a 64 330 post minus engine & trans. How can I tell if the K-frame is for 6-cyl. or V-8? Thanks for any help. Dave

I don't know for sure on the 64 but on my 67's the /6 k frame has a much higher mount on the drivers side and a low mount on the pass side. On my v8 k-frame they were both about equal in height.

Here are some pictures from a 64 Polara 500 that was a 383, which all v/8s are the same through 63-65.

The frame mount on a slant six is much higher on one side than the other, like1 1/2"-2".
