vacuum hose routing?

where do hoses run form the cannister, or do everyone just chuck the c annister? also when i bought the 73 sat, 318 , it had side flow alum rad like new, i really prefer to get oem style, found new one for $275 shiped to me, is there much of a demand for my alum rad??? i would think chevy or race guys would be the likely market?? thanks BILL

Hose routing can be found in the shop manual, but be wary of hooking it to carb if its been unplugged for awhile. Theres a lot of junk that can hide in those lines just waiting to be sucked into your carb. The charcoal can even break down and give you fits you dont need. If you want stock looks, hook up the lines but block them off internally(silicone, small round objects, etc.). If you want to go custom, pitch the whole system and plug the lines. Some areas may have visual emissions inspections, so you would need to leave in place. As for the radiator, mopar race parts sell pretty good. Let the chevy guys fend for themselves!
