I just installed a new power booster.

I connected the vacuum tube coming out of my PCV value to the vacuum port on the back of 750 double pumper.
I connected the power booster vacuum line to the manifold vacuum port of the edelbrock manifold. It was plugged, but removed the plug and installed a port to connect the vacuum line.

The car ran great for a while, then started to sputter at higher speeds and then was sluggish of line...
I am not sure if I have the vacuum lines connected right?

When I removed my old power booster that lost vacuum, old power booster... the vacuum line was connected to back of the carb and tube coming from the PCV was open and running to the side of engine to drain if need, and the manifold vacuum port was plugged.

trying to figure why it ran great for a while then it started running really crappy... I felt I wasn't going to make it home.

Your current vacuum line connection is correct - booster to manifold and PCV to carb. You can disconnect the booster line to see if things improve. You may have other things going on.

"tube coming from the PCV was open and running to the side of engine to drain if need"

WTH? This does not sound good. Is the carb sucking oil in from the PCV?

You've probably already done this but, Maybe check PVC itself. It sound like you have it correct.. Also, maybe one of the vacuum hoses sprang a leak so now you've got a vacuum leak somewhere. I'd try new PVC and new line just to see and then go from there.

Just a thought

Could you post a picture? It sometimes is worth a thousand words.
