"What's it Worth?" threads should be banned forever! People want free appraisals, that is what it amounts to. Research! Put a price on the damn thing! If someone buys it, congrats! If your inbox is empty, you might have it priced too high. Too easy.

Tried researching.. seen 1 NOS “440” lens for $325.. there are a bunch of “500/RT” lens out there and yes for around $200 but the 440s are obviously more rare.. this is my research even if I am asking for a “free appraisal”.. I searched google and found nothing... why are ppl getting so butt hurt, if it’s not Benefiting the post move on..

Those 500 and R/T lenses aren't that much unless you are including the bezel, did you sell these 440 lenses yet? BTW they are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them in my opinion, maybe less!

I believe the 500/RT lenses are more plentiful because they actually had the grill style bezel to protect them.. the 440s have more lens showing and made with chrome trim attached to them.. and would fall off go missing etc. Reckon most NOSs were used up over the years why they are harder to find.

They sure are but they are! It would really be nice to see a aftermarket manufacturer pick up on these, I think the 440s are one of a few not being reproduced.

Put an ad on FBBO. $500.00 OBO. If they sell, congrats. If they don't, lower the price! This really isn't rocket science, especially since everyone responding has given you the answers you need to make an informed decision.
