Valve spring question for cam break in

Chevy .842 XE 268 has same seat duration as stock non HP Mopar 260- but more Intense
very similar to the MP 260- which is a better cam for a MOPAR
that said it takes more spring than the MP 260 cus it's working harder on less lifter diameter
will be interesting to see what you come up with a break in spring
STock HP springs (red with dampner) you would think would work

I am considering the 268 cam and the 911 springs on my 383 build. I have 516 heads.
Can the spring pads be ground to make 1.90 height? does this effect the stock pushrod length?

I half answered my question.

Application matters, but for a BBM with stock heads, an alternative to the 911 if you don’t have the height -
Trick Flow TFS-16839 are a better match for the shorter installed height.

Howard’s 98515 is another option.
