That is how it starts.
all Mopar events in germany do not allow any post 1980 Mopars so people have to come with the real stuff and not modern junk

Looking forward to seeing your Charger. Now with 5 speed! Maybe I will dig out the Coronet. That is how it starts.
Just booked 4 nights at the Carriage Inn, but the guy wouldn't give me the host rate, said he has no record of Chrysler Performance West Car Club. Anybody know a name at the Inn I ask for?
Taking the Dart again instead of the Coronet; I need the extra gear for the drive down.
I'll call them tomorrow."Car Club" also is supposed to work.
Could you try during regular business hours tomorrow.
I will send a email to the Hotel contact.
I'll call them tomorrow.
This weekend I plan to start on the wheel tub modifications. I have always had tire rub with a full tank even when driving alone. Anyone that has tried fitting wide tires in these cars knows that you either raise the car or use narrower tires.Looking forward to seeing your Charger. Now with 5 speed! Maybe I will dig out the Coronet.
I could loan you a set of 2.76, 2.94 or 3.23 gears if you wanted to take the Coronet. No offense to the Dart.Just booked 4 nights at the Carriage Inn, but the guy wouldn't give me the host rate, said he has no record of Chrysler Performance West Car Club. Anybody know a name at the Inn I ask for?

With the cam and the 3000 stall converter, I wonder how much the highway gears would bog down the engine.I could loan you a set of 2.76, 2.94 or 3.23 gears if you wanted to take the Coronet. No offense to the Dart.
Your converter would feel like a 6000 stall with the 2.76 gears! With the cam and the 3000 stall converter, I wonder how much the highway gears would bog down the engine.
BTW, its a 489 rear.
I am going to have to take a closer look at my stash to make sure I have a good set. I've sold a few and converted a few 3rd members from 2.76s to 3.55 and 3.91 gears. Also....I could loan you a factory High Stall converter to make the combination better. I had it checked out at a shop but haven't used it yet. They were good for 2350 in a Hemi car. With the car lift and trans jack, we could have it done in a few hours.Interesting offer. The Coronet had 3.23s before I swapped in the 3.55s. To make it worthwhile I'd go down to the 2.76s.
That really depends on the convertor... Some 3K stall convertors are loose as the girls walking downtown... Others thats not really the case...Your converter would feel like a 6000 stall with the 2.76 gears!
It's a Frank Lupo converter and it's very tame on the street. It loads up when you want it to.That really depends on the convertor... Some 3K stall convertors are loose as the girls walking downtown... Others thats not really the case...
