Vibrating new Charger EV!

No one is going to buy a straight 6 cylinder car,what is it 1940?
The R/T one is 47k!
Lots of people buy BMW cars and SAVs/SUVs with a straight six; for decades. I'll trust the BMW straight six before a recently developed, unproven one from Stellantis/Dodge/Ram.
I know, and ouch!
A little bit less from a dealership in North Savannah, but the Georgia ad valorem tax on this one is around $3,123 the first year. $20 per year thereafter.

Nothing is cheap. I pulled up next to a kid driving a new ram truck in a parking lot, and we started talking about his truck. 96 thousand!! They don't make a vehicle in this world that I would pay that much for.

It just occurred to me that this new Charger EV, with all the V8 sound and vibration fakery, is the automotive equivalent of every chick's Instagram filters.

Locating the vibration unit in the seat may actually boost sales (to women drivers).
I seem to recall many discussions in the 1990s and later, about the large number of Honda Civics with loud boomy (High Q @ 60Hz) sound systems being akin to the loud exhaust systems of the 1970s muscle car. They were both head turners and drew attention to the car and driver.
The vibrations units seems, again, a replacement for some lost element of the muscle car experience.
Not too many years ago, it almost seemed creepy working with my back to the street, and an EV could pull up, stop, roll down their power window, and the driver startle me by asking me a question. Not hearing them pull to a stop freaked me out the first few times. It seemed so surreal at the time.
Maybe I take for granted sounds and vibrations of the world around me, until they are gone.

Maybe the quietness of EV's will mean, in future Fast & the Furious movies, Dom Toretto can have believable entire conversations out the side windows with his opponents at WOT.
They completely ruined the Hornet yes, I fully agree. But while I don’t like it at all, at least they kept the new “Charger” as a 2 door car and its not another 4 door one.
