What engines?

If the GTO is still a 389, then it's a mismatch in the X's favor.

Better race would be 389 vs 383, or 455 vs 440.

My money is still on the smaller cube Mopar.

How about 63 Sport Fury vs GTO ! This was about 6 years ago when I had my old 440 in my 63. I ran 11.78 to the GTO's 13.06. It was at a Nostalgic race and this was just a time run. I dont know what eng was in the GTO but both of our cars were street cars. I had alot of fun that day. Ron

I dont remember my reaction time on that pass but it was better then the GTO's as I did not redlite. I remember as I had no idea how fast that GTO was but it was a tagged street car that did not look like it was faster then my 11.70's I ran that day. But it ran respectable 13.0's which was very good for what it was. Ron

Actually this time run against a nice 68 Cuda was a pass that surprised me. I had just run 10.76 in the other lane and on this time run I spun alot in this lane but I put a lite on this nice Cuda and I thought he would catch and pass me as it looked like a low 10 or even a 9 second car but I ended up running a 10.92 @ 124 and beat him as he ran 10.97 @ 121. I really though it was faster then me as it looked faster then a high 10 car. No offense meant to the car as its a nice looking Cuda. Ron
