I was a machine ***, pump monkey and squeeze tech I mean a machinist/pump and compressor tech. Was in shop on machines for most of my time there (26 years) with maybe 5 years total on compressors and pumps. Learned a lot there so can't say too much bad about the place lolWhat all did You do @ Exxon Cranky?
It had it's fun times but I wasn't one of the 'chosen ones' and for sure wasn't a member of the good old boys club. I never did like sucking *** either and told them what was on my mind and what I thought even when not asked lol and that didn't bode too well with many of the managers. There were some that did like me though and I'm still friends with the guy I worked for the past 15 years before I retired and we still visit and talk about the better times we had out there. It was an interesting trip for sure!Sounds like a cool place to work Cranky!
Here's the view out my office window of the day care nut-house across the street. One of the "visitors" is out there doing the boogaloo and directing traffic in the parking lot with the stereo blaring in his car. And yes, the nut drives.

The view from the front door right here on 8 Mile near Woodward! The cops love to sit next door and pull people over all day. Those new Hemis sure sound good at WOT

RC, just what is he doing?
I'd be a little concerned with that lunatic around children and a day care center...
Is he a public official?
Affiliated with the "Center"??
Or, just a ahem...helpful citizen?
The one and only! I believe you can reserve spots in lots, or claim your stake of grass on the lawn, but you gotta mark your territory at like 5 or 6am I would have to assume. I know people are out on WW 6am Friday and Saturday. I have never partaken parking on WW the day of, though i may this year with my Savoy. I always lived close enough to just ride my bike to the cruise and walk around. And then make a couple passes in my car afterwards. This is my first year owning a car worth parking.Hey 64Savoy, are you talking about Woodward Blvd? The one that they cruise on? If so, can I reserve a place to park my chair when I come up this year?
