Came across a couple vintage pamphlets. Circa 1966/7. I like the mail in plug recommendation service. The road pamphlet is from GM

My vintage ( possibly about 100 years old ) security system . My grandmothers 2nd husband was a tie-hack .

Ive got a 30x40 going up this june, ive got stuff stashed and stored all over WAITING to have a shop again, sold my last house with a 30x60 and i already know this one is to small but i built a brand new house last year and 30x40 is as big as i can afford.to go with these insane prices. I've got old signs, hundreds of mopar hotwheels and model kit cars to display and, hoods and valve covers I've been collecting anything that makes me happy and way to many cars and parts cars i need probably two more 30x40 buildings after this one lol
These pics are in a storage shed with dirt floors. Kills me to have some of the cars sitting on dirt floors

Today I went to pick up this sign that I found on farcebook marketplace for the shop wall

And ended up also buying this. It will be a great backyard bar once I figure out how to dismantle and move it.

Disassemble a grain bin starting from the top...roof 1st, then each ring. In the world of grain bins that looks small (500 - 700 bushel?). You may get away with unbolting it from it's slab and trailering it whole depending on how far you are moving it...as long as it's secured well and you're going slow (they are like a big kite when empty...and they fold up easily if not supported evenly) Was common to move small ones on the farm.

A few more finds. I have a few other spark testers, but those only indicate spark or no spark. This one indicates no spark, weak spark, or strong spark.

I used my bucket truck and some jacks I made to support the top ring. Then took it a part and lowered after removing each ring.

I found some more cool/rare/unusual items (IMHO).
A pen holder from Mound Road Engine (where I worked from ‘72 - ‘81). An NOS Champion rain cape. An STP fender protector. Two items from Chrysler Parts and Equipment. It is from the 8 Mile plant, but even though I lived four houses from 8 mile, and the Mound Road engine plant was just south of 8 mile, I have no idea where this place was. The little ruler shows fractions when you look at it from one angle, and the equivalent decimal numbers when you look at it from another angle. Two pair of Moon Eyes Dice door locks and a standard oil rain bonnet
