Ahh.. thought you had gotten rid of it, i ran into pics of it looking for small block blower info... BTW... those air cleaners... why
K.. it's buggin me... what car is that? I would swear that's a aussie mopar?
If I remember right, a Volare. Could be the Dodge version. (Aspen).K.. it's buggin me... what car is that? I would swear that's a aussie mopar?
ahh Aspen... just the whole wheel wells, grille and all that seems so weird... haven't seen a mid 70s mopar in decades thoughIf I remember right, a Volare. Could be the Dodge version.
very cool, and i actually like how those air cleaners look, and they are short, have just seen a few catch fire And i would call 11.0 on the street plenty fast.. i rarely go over 60mph so anything more is meh anyway. cool car.I like the way these air cleaners look. Everyone has said how bad they are. So I fabbed up a large K&N. the difference in ET? None. The car is a Volare that came with a Road Runner and Super Pac spoiler option. Had it since 1977. Been supercharged since 1987. Not super fast. very heavy, just under 3900 with me. Mild factory head 340. Runs 11.0x@121 in street trim with good tires.

goes bad and instead of stopping fuel it just flows? The video covered what went bad on our predator!...Looks like the part that is bad on ours is now available in carbon fiber thermoplastic. Whatever that is..
They did not mention that when that piece goes bad it can hydrolock the engine w gas and bend a rod!Lol
Maybe our predator will live again
....or maybe not.

We had a holley electric fuel pump. Turned the key on and the gas went straight through. It was nothing like a needle and seat sticking and flooding. More like just dumping all the gas full flow into the engine. Happened quick!goes bad and instead of stopping fuel it just flows?
damn... that's a bad day...We had a holley electric fuel pump. Turned the key on and the gas went straight through. It was nothing like a needle and seat sticking and flooding. More like just dumping all the gas full flow into the engine. Happened quick!
I doubt they all fail like that..Lol
At least it was a oldsmobile and not a mopar!

Hi Doug, I'm doing a Richard Petty wanna b '72 Charger. They used the same hood hinges on that same race car. What/where are they from? Silly question # 2, are they original to Your Volare? Thanks, Rick
