Hey everyone. I'm looking to purchase a Coronet project car to begin restoring. I'm located in NY and I'd prefer a car from the Northeast to limit the amount I have to travel to get the car. I'd prefer a 67 or 68 without a vinyl top. What's most important is that the frame rails and trunk extensions, etc are fully intact. Floors and trunk, quarters, etc. can be changed by me, that's no problem. I'd like the car to be structurally sound.

The car can be a roller, as I'll be adding my own drivetrain anyway. I'd like a car with a dash in tact, but the rest of the interior doesn't matter. Looking to spend anywhere up to $4,000. Please PM me and let me know what you have available or email [email protected] with location, pictures and a description. Thanks!

Chris :D

What exactly do you have Semissouri? I can't find your car listed here.

I'm in Iowa, I have a 66 Coronet 500 convertable. I want $4000. Solid car sheded since 1987. I have pics email [email protected]

Wow, requesting to spend less that 4K for a car 40 yrs old in the Northeast, sounds like you will need to be really lucky to find one given the copious salt they lather the roads in up there, and, how these cars have virtually no barrier from corrosion, take a road trip to TX or the south to look for 'em. Good luck nonetheless.

Yo Chris, good luck with your quest!Do you have a street car now??

Hey! Yeah, I have a 1967 Barracuda Fastback 360/904/8-3/4 3.23:1 open differential, currently under the knife. I have a build thread on FABO-- Project "Not As Nice As Tony Fields'" It was originally a 273 Commando/904 8-3/4 car with power brakes and power steering.

I think asking for a car that needs rust repair, without interior, and lacking a complete drivetrain for $4k or less is reasonable, don't you?
