I dont think hes selling one. Hes merely asking for the sake of your search. Ive quickly scanned your positing history, its all WTB 70 roadrunner/gtx. But never tell us more. With more detail maybe youll finally find what your looking for. You may not have the budget for an awesome condition, fixed up, hop in and drive $40,000 gtx. Or you may be completely opposed to a rust bucket needs everything motors not in it $5000 dollar car. Theres always some where in the middle. A running driving but junk $10,000 car or a decent running and driving for $20k but need work. So for your sake in finding one, and our sake in helping find one, whats your budget and what condition are you looking for. Hell, we may be able to adjust what your looking for based on your budget. For example you will not find a driver, far from perfect but ready to go to a cruise night here and there, for 5k. Not gonna happen. Bjt if you want a rusty pile but have a 20k budget, we'll tell you you can get a heck of alot more then that. For an example locally near me on CL theres a 70 roadrunner. Completely taken apart and is a total project but all the sheet metal is repaired. And the car is definitly ready to do the body worl and put it back together. Hes asking 15k. And thats very reasonable given all the expensive stuff is done.

I've never seen a 70 GTX that drives for anything less than 20k.
Not in the last 15 years anyway.

I sold a rear end on craigslist today, i opened the garage and the guy said "oh hell ya, i had a 69 and a 70gtx, times were different then. Can you believe it, Sold em both in 82 for 2800 a piece..." thats probably the last time any 70 gtx in running condition was cheap

Gtx yes. Roadrunner not sure i know its somewhere around 18k in 68 25.5k in 69 and 8k in 70

Thats our point. The economy sucks. Most of us a hard working people making ends meet and putting extra money into our cars when we get a chance. Either say "yes! I won the lottery or got a huge inheritance, or slipped on ice at a chic fil a and sued their asses, etc, price is no objection im buying my dream car" or give us a better guideline. The majority of us cant go dump 50plus thousands of dollars on a toy. Which is why we hunt for projects that are within our capabilities and means.
