The site owner (the one that makes the rules here) and the mods are pretty friendly but when some don't follow the rules or try to interpret them to suit their needs, that's when things can get a bit sideways. Members that have upgraded to Gold get to post their phone numbers but we do recommend that they do not. Anyways, it's obvious that you nor the OP read the rules for posting and making a reply in a classified ad and that's what usually raises a flag with us.

You made a mistake 'after' reading the rules or did you confuse this site with another? It drives us crazy when members don't follow the rules. This happens a lot and whenever a member goes to post an ad, a page pops up before the ad gets posted. One of two things happens....that page get ignored or they read it before posting. I wish the system had the same pop up page whenever a respondent goes to post on someone's ad but I'm pretty sure most would just ignore that too.

Too bad I didn't see this fiasco until now. It's closed . One thing bad about a member answering a sale ad is that they don't get a chance to read the sale rules. That issue may be hard to overcome. When his first post got deleted for personal information and a message was sent he should have gotten a hint. May be I need to include a link to the sale rules in the message? That's another few minutes to respond.
