i found washer switch that has a single connection wire but the switch has two prongs and i can not find another loose wire to fit extra prong has anyone ran into that issue? there is only one brown wire for that switch. thanks

Washer switch.JPG

One terminal on the washer switch goes to the wiper switch (brown). The path to the washer motor is a brown wire to the bulkhead terminal #2, pin "M", Brown to the washer motor. Both connectors (wiper & washer) should be in the dash harness with the respective wires in close proximity to the switch.

Two browns, usually dangling under the dash there somewhere do you have the one from the wiper switch like shown above or the one that goes to the pump motor?

so far i have only found the one that goes to the bulkhead,i will keep looking for other brown wire. thanks

If you found the one to the bulk head then thats the pump wire, if the other brown is not there just make a jumper out of some scrap wire same gauge and plug it in. Use the diagram luke.....

how do you make a jumper, where do i connect jumper too? thanks

Got any wire laying around the house? Go to a local auto parts store and get some ther along with some spade type connectors and a crisper, can probably kit it all in a kit. Ask the clerk how to use it. If you don't feel comfortable doing any of that then go to a local auto repair shop and tell them you need a 6" jumper wire out of 16 gauge stranded wire with female spade lugs on both ends.

upon further review i went back to check brown wires and the only one i found is in the main harness,i do not see the wire to the bulkhead, now do that wire goes to the inside bulk head are out side under hood bulkhead?is this a straight brown wire from switch to the bulk head? are is the brown wire in the harness that connects to inside bulkhead? thanks

Well let me see If I have this right you found the brown wire under the dash to the bulkhead connector? and yes it will be on the other side all the way to the washer pump motor

no the wire i found attach to switch from main harness,i do not see another brown wire that goes any where, i have looked for a while.

Attached to the switch in the dash right? and you traced that one to the bulkhead block at the fire wall? then to the washer pump? if that is there than all you need is a small jumper wire from the other terminal on the switch to the correct terminal on the wiper switch per the diagram. You can make a small jumper out of any scrap piece of wire if you have any, if not just go to any local auto parts store and buy some 16 awg wire and a couple of female spade lug terminals that crimp on.

so there is a wire from bulkhead to washer pump is this the out side bulk head to washer pump?

Yes, so on the other side of the bulkhead block under the dash will be the other side that one will go to the washer button/switch in the dash. from what it sounds like is your missing the other brown from that switch to the wiper switch right next to it? Is this correct?

yes that is correct. thanks big for the info and help.
