Waterneck with NPT hole for sender

Searching for a water neck to my Roadrunner so it should be pointing like 45 degrees to the passenger side, but I need one with a NTP hole in it so I can mount a second temp sender.

The EFI takes up the stock location of sender, but I want an additional for the gauges. The ones I've found point 45 degrees to the driver side, with would make them point backwards if I turn them around.

Any help guys?

I think there are water pump housings with a front location for temp sender. Don't ask what year. If it's a BB.

I drilled and tapped 1/4" pipe holes for return cooling lines on my chevy motors. u might look and see if ur thermostat housing is thick enough to try that.

Another way to do it would be to cut the radiator hose and put a sending house and clamp it down, but doesn't look that great

That Summit part was for your water neck problem. I don't think you would want to put a temp sender in a water neck it would after the thermostat. If the thermostat stuck closed you'd overheat and not know it. What about a tee on a below heater hose pipe?

My solution was to utilize a 3/8"pt 'T' in the water pump housing. The heater hose fitting is in the top and the mechanical gauge bourdon tube is in the side hole using a Summit extender (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/atm-2271). The other electric sender is for the FiTech computer:

Looks fuel injection on x ram, right? Was it a hassle to setup?

Initially it was, because they hadn't done many of them. Johnny at Pace Performance, where I purchased the unit, was a great help in getting answers from FiTech, whose popularity seems to have outrun their ability to have good customer service. Hopefully, soon they will catch up and publish a comprehensive owner's manual. I've worked with carburetors for over 50 years and my engine ran great with the Edelbrock 500s, but wanted a new challenge. FiTech hooked me with their Fuel Command Center, which made the install much simpler. With all the rain we've had and vacation traveling I haven't put a lot of miles on it, but so far, I'm very impressed.

No is the short answer. I have the FiTech oxygen sensor on the right bank and a Innovative wide band A/F sensor on the left bank. When the engine is cold, the sensors don't agree with each other but after it's up to operating temperature they pretty much run the same.

What about the block heater bung?

I've always wondered about that.

Does it go into the water jacket?

If so, that might be a better place for the sensor than high up in the intake, as it would be less likely to become uncovered and stop registering correctly.

Block drain plug, didn't think to go low, good idea.

What did you do to make stock air cleaners fit the Fitech throttle bodies. I think that looks a lot better than mine. My base would not fit so I went to k&n 2" filters with air stream top. That setup seamed to give me some more power and now I don't suck as much heat from the manifold and headers. For car shows I would like to put my stock ones back on but don't want to cut them to fit.
