We need a new traffic law fast.

We have the law here in Illinois. I think it started about 3 years ago. It's made a difference in keeping the "self appointed" out of the left lane. But the brain dead... there's just no hope. I did actually see a cop pull up behind a "s-a" and pull him over. Put a big smile on my face!

I have actually tapped on a guys window and asked him to check his mirrors to see the huge traffic jam that he was causing. He stayed right where he was and flipped me off.
A quick boot to his door got him to pull over. Of course, he never did get my plate number.

I like that alot!!!!
Bet bhe was pissed with those steel tipped boots on.

I work in Louisiana and we have had that law for a couple of years. It sure is nice when I get to pull over some "driver" and give them an award for Improper Lane Usage.

I have done a lot of driving lately and I agree. Get out of the passing lane if you are not passing!

But, what does really tick me off is if I am going faster than the speed limit and some impatient arse pirate comes flying up behind me while I am passing a truck. I'm already going over 80 so I think you can wait the few seconds for me to pass the semi. Or you can challenge my 7500lb truck if you really want to. I'm sure I'll come out of the incident better than they would.

yes and go to pass them on the right and they speed up so you can't pass.
happened again today. this time on the parkweay we both got up to 100 mph.
this time i won and got in front of him and nailed the brakes in front of him and slowed him way the f*** down.
He stayed way back for the rtest of the ride home.

What road were you on? (like it really matters in NY? LOL)

You should see I-75 between Fort Myers and Sarasota during the hell season..........it is both lanes blocked by the infamous "slowbirds" for the entire 60 some miles!
All out of state plates just hogging the left lane and not going any faster than the right lane!!!
And most of them are on their cell phones (probably talking to their grand children in Michigan or somewhere "up north") totally oblivious to the real world behind them!
