The nicest Mopar in my opinion was Rick Mahoneys factory stock 68 Road Runner. Outstanding car. It's hard to believe but this thing has gone 10.92@127

Bob we've never met but I checked your car out, very nice. I believe it was also a 1st place winner. I work at CTC with Matt he gave me the lowdown on the car.

Hi Doug,
Yes, the car did get a 1st place win, thanks--but you're right--Rick Mahoney's Road Runner was stunning, and that e.t. was on street tires in the F.A.S.T. class (though I (unofficially) heard that Dave Dudek has since gone a little faster in that class with both his R.R. and his Super Bee). Your car is absolutely sinister--everything about it just means business!
All the best of life, Bob

Awesome cars guys as they look great ! I love that color on your 64 Doug. And I agree Mahoneys 68 Hemi Runner is truly an amazing car ! Ron

Well done, that is GREAT NEWS! rEP THE MOPARS WELL!

Doug I was just wandering are you planning to drive your 64 on the street at all ? Or will it be a race car only ? If you do drive it on the street then I want to find out how that intake setup works driving on the street. Ron

Ron it will be pretty much race only. I'm not sure how street friendly aluminum rods,.800" lift, and 15-1 compression will be. I can tell you so far the throttle response feels great.
