Just look at it good, he wanted 1400 for it the last time it was for sale. look at the runner

A repaired casting flaw maybe? A mishandling gouge? Or Lol, or someone threw it onto the scrap pile in disgust gouge (one fine day I watched a guy do exactly that with an Edelbrock six pack he just pulled off his car...………... with carbs still attached).
I picked this up on "goldbay" a few years back for very fair price as I recall. In fact I may have made the only bid on it. Unreal what they want for 'em these days.

There is a cross brace/ridge that looks original on the Moparts intake that is missing on Frank's but I can see where it used to be.

See it? I wonder why it was removed from the one Frank has.

The only thing I could think of is air flow around the intake. Plus you might be able to see it from the side. Makes it look open and cleaner.

I've seen some with and some where it was obviously removed.

Anybody else know why someone would remove this crossbrace?
