The case was clean when I got it several months ago and didn't like seeing it starting to rust and didn't have any clear....so, it's now black. Also found several clutch forks and linkage rods etc today after looking in the right places. But I'm betting I still don't have the right parts lol. Not sure if I want to use a scatter shield or a stock bell.....but don't have a stock bell housing anymore but have a scatter shield. Probably should use the SS since I have a penchant for high rpm power shifting.

I painted my whole car that color! :D

No clear since I'm leaving it up to
my son as to how he wants to see
it done.
He likes the black, but my vision
for 30 years has been to go all out,
and paint it. Huge expense these
days.
Bodywork and paint tends to be the
most tedious task. Not to mention
disassembly/reassembly of every
component.
I'm too old and worn out, my son is
the impatient sort. Maybe tie the
poor old truck to paint jail for a
couple years......Naaa......that 440
come to life sounds glorious.

That's a nice paint job Cranky. I don't see any runs at all.....too good for a factory job. :D
