What a jackwagon!

If you have the car on eBay, how did he get your phone number?

He sent me a message and I sent him my number.I don't post my number on Ebay anymore.

i have purchased and sold many cars in the last 10 years or so.one thing i have noticed since the economy took a dump is that most buyers assume(every body knows that word)you will take 2/3 of your asking price.it really seems to be a fairly steady # they seem to think you will take.i just say no and walk away.i do find it kinda idiotic to tell some one you are going to flip a car,so you need it cheep.

I have to agree with everything you just said especially the last part about your friends Dad. What you paid for something is totally irrelevant to the discussion ... its worth what its worth.

what he said X2

over the years i've found that "...anything is worth only, what someone will pay..." if it's worth more than that to you; keep it.

Great point... Bingo, you don't have to except any offer, no one is twisting your arm & forcing you... If you don't like the offer tell them to hit the bricks, you don't have to take it... I personally like the guy on Fast & Loud, Richard, he buys low, sells high "most of the time", if your in the car business, "that's exactly what you need to do", you don't by retail & try too sell at that level, you buy wholesale & sell at retail, that's the name of the game or you won't be in business very long.... by the way I hate the typical flippers, that pray on the weak, old or feeble folks too..

Richard Rollings would have offered $6500.00....If Aaron would cut the beard off I would knock off 500.00 more!LOL

I guess we are getting past the point. The point was that the guy told him he wanted to flip it and he needed to sell it to him so he could make a profit on the car which clearly means he knows its worth more....its the audacity that is worth telling the guy to step off.

Nobody expect to pay the asking price...I know I sure as hell don't and I don't get upset over low ball offers, I expect them when selling...and No is all you have to say. But with D-bag's like this guy its worth taking the extra second to ruin his self esteem a bit :icon_fU:

I've never heard the term "jackwagon" before. Did you make that up?

You're car is amazing, my absolute dream Mopar. If I had the money I'd buy it. If you do end up selling it, I hope it goes to a person who is cool and appreciates it.

Jackwagon has been in the lexicon for quite a while...

here's a prime example for ya Pabs...
