What am I missing?

68 Superbee 1/4 popout windows have a big gap and it seems that I am missing something. Any help would be great. Is there something that goes there. I have asked this before but finally got some pictures to see if this helps understand what problem I am having. I did not remove these as me dad did years ago and I am trying to put it back together. He was giving less than 6 months so just really trying to get it on the road for a couple of rides. He does not remember anything being there but that was long ago. If needed I will just go without them installed as long as he gets that last ride. Thanks guys

You probably have plymouth window set ups in the car they are actually a little bit shorter. I just went through this between a super bee and a road runner cant believe chrysler did that but have seen it myself.

I guess I would find it VERY hard to believe that the Dodge units would be different from the Plymouths. The roof line is the same and they share the same doors and all the glass is interchangeable. Anybody else know of any differences between Dodge and Plymouth pop out windows?

Milt73, it looks like your missing another piece of stainless that goes from the drip rail to the inside and acts as a retainer for the weatherseal/gasket. The door glass has the same piece.

As far as I know these are original to the car but I don't know if my dad ever replaced them for any reason.

Unmolested 1/4 windows

Mine has a stainless steel(?) filler piece above the main weatherstrip.Plus the drip rail
