A little help here. These valve covers came with the car. 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. Original engine color was turquoise, these were in the trunk. I don’t think they’re for a Road Runner. Any help would be appreciated.

Left side looks like a 67-69 C body Left side
Right side looks like a 71 C body Left side

Makes sense. Plug wire holders don’t line up

Awesome! Maybe I’ll find the correct ones at swap meet this weekend

@khryslerkid posted Amd pictures of their b-body repops for me, for a similar problem. Maybe he can do it again.

Yep. I think I have a mismatched pair of valve covers. Thanks guys.

So….valve covers are not model specific in 69?
what I mean is my engine was originally 68, turquoise color. Could it have come from a truck, and these valve covers did to? Or are they just mismatched?

Your drivers side looks like the amd repop for 66/67 drivers side to me (and BeepBeepRR).
I don't know what the passenger side is, other that it's a drivers side too. The factory indent on the end is for a power brake booster.
Wild is probably right about a 71 c-body.
I can get pics from my 69 b-body 440 for you, in a week or so.
Edit: nevermind, they look identical to the 69s KK showed from AMD.
THANKS AGAIN @khryslerkid!

Yes & No.... First yeah, not 71 the indent is wrong... They are certainly useable on a 69 with a few minor changes.... They are C body so they have the spark plug wire tab on top... That can be removed, the one on the side is correct on the passenger side but should be removed from the drivers side.. But the passenger side also should have wiring tabs... Those are available as reproductions & can be welded on easily...

Whoops. I meant MINE were identical to the 69 amd repops.

My 67 R/T has the original chrome valve covers. They do not have the big plug wire bracket as shown in the pictures above as 1967. I think perhaps only the C Bodies had that bracket.
