Only reason I questioned that myself is the factory spacing on the other side is much wider between the screw hole and the pilot hole. On the other hand I found nothing in all my removed hardware and the mounting kit a have extra clips the same as the rest.
Most of the rocker moulding use a different clip at the front (and sometimes rear) position... The middle clips are plastic, they snap into the holes in the rocker where there is no access to the backside then the trim snaps over them... but the end clip(s) are metal, inserted into the trim and a nut is installed on the backside with access through the wheel well.. Original clips are nearly impossible to locate but since they are invisible once installed there are options that work fine... My go to is this style clip... They come in different sizes for trim from 1/2" to trim 4" wide though the wide ones are getting hard to find...
