What color is the blower motor on a 1969 440 GTX a/c car?

Is there a consensus as to whether or not the blower motor from a car off the assembly line was painted black or silver on b-bodies (GTX if it matters) with A/C in 1969?

Black on both of mine. Both Lynch Road cars, one was an April build, the other was September '68.

Yes, both were factory A/C, first one was unrestored one owner car I had in the 90s. Current one was a high end restoration of an unaltered 56,000 mile original, owned for 15 years by the Plymouth dealer in my town.

While I have you're expert attention, I've been wondering about the firewall stiffening plate behind the brake vacuum booster. Car color or semigloss black like the booster?
