What color?

'69 A12 clone? You have your answer - A12 engines are orange. But aren't A12 cars 6bbl? So, if not a 6bbl, is it really an A12 clone? Paint it whatever color calls to you.

A roadrunner clone with a fibreglass hood?

Since it's not really a "clone" with a four barrel, paint it 2hat3ver you like.

Personal opinion: I've seen so many orange mopars (and chevies) I'd pick something else.
I like the turquoise, tho it's the "low performance" color, and is now hard to find.

Wander into your favorite auto parts store, check out the engine paints, and pick what you like.(I used a dark Ford blue on one of my 440s). Anytime availability is a plus.

But if it matters to you what would be correct, for an A12, .... or a non-A/C 69 RR, paint it hemi orange.

I'd hardly call The new for '67 375HP 440 MAGNUM a low performance engine.
They just started painting any Ole malaise motors hemi orange after that.. kinda ruined it really.

True, but next year the a/c motors were turquoise, the non a/c, more camshaft motors were orange. I looked to find hemi turquoise, looks like not available.
