I bought this Saturday at the garlits swap meet. The individual said It might be from a dana 60 but he wasn't sure. Spline count is 23. I bought it for cheap. I took a chance. Anybody know? Boat anchor?

There is a part number and dates stamped into the case. What are they.

Looks like a power lock 67 Dana to me.

Look inside the axle holes, does it have the axle buttons like an 8 3/4 clutch type would have? Or a hole for them? Or is there just solid cross shafts in there?

23 spline would be a late 60s Dana, and that is a clutch style SG. Good piece. I DONT know for sure (I'm SURE someone here does) but you might be able to change the side gears for 35 spline ones.

Yes an 8 3/4 would be 30 spline.

Dana Power lock. Side gears are available if you want to switch it to 35 spline (or something else for that matter). New clutch discs used to be cheap as well.
