This is what my Super Bee looked like when I first laid eyes on it. My friends thought I was crazy for taking this car. It was on it's way to the junk yard before I brought it home. Got it for free!!

talk about being the lucky dog.

Brave...

You guys are BRAVE. Mine looks like an easy weekend project compared to some of these. The trunk was a legit project though!

Here's mine when I first saw it. Don't be fooled by the exterior - it needed a LOT of work, starting with the three street signs that made up the driver's side floorboard.

Man, this is a great thread! To all of you who brought your cars back from the dead, hats off to you! Found mine in Sonoma County farmland, looking so good my mouth fell open.

Mine looked so bad I turned around and left! I drove 90 minutes to look at a supposed daily driver car, and found a car with no interior, no front clip, and no windshield sitting halfway out of a barn in the middle of nowhere. The horse standing next to me had an expression that said my one horsepower will move more than that car ever will. :) There was no one around aside from the horse and a pit bull running around, so I said forget it and left. As soon as I got back into some cell coverage my phone started ringing and it was the owner telling me he had seen me with the car but I had left by the time he walked over to the barn, so I turned around and went back.

Turned out the car wasn't a pile-o-parts that I had feared, and that the owner and his Dad had disassembled the front to replace some parts that were damaged by a tree fall. They rebuilt everything for me and all was good. :)

Here ya go. This was after I washed all the crap off of it and brought it in to the shop.
