What do 15x7 mopar rallys tend to run....

I recently bought and restored a set of 15x7 AMC rallys and at the end of the day would have cost about the same to do brand new 15x7 magnum 500 repros all the way around.

Basically, I have half a dozen 14x6 mopar rallys with 4 roller tires on the car.

I plan to go with a set of 4 15x7s,
with 215/65s up front, and probably 255 /60s in the rear.
maybe 275/60s in the rear. I know most 275 tires say use bigger than a 7 inch rim but myself and plenty of others I know have ran 275s on 7 inch rims for ages with no problems.

or I could go with 15x7 for the front and 15x8 for the rear.

wow- great prices in my opinion for repor wheels.

15x7 steel Mopar ralleys about 100 bucks.

even less if go with the black steel non rally wheels.

on a 74 RR,
has anyone gone with 15x7 all the way around with 255/60s on back?
(with stock 4.25 inch back space)

has anyone gone with 15x8 in the rear with 275 60s,
and did you use 4.5 inch backspace?

275's seem to fit the rear of the RR's quite well. But unless they are on an 8" rim, they kinda look like balloons.

I have 15x7's with 235 70's all around and they fit fine. Rims have the 4.25" BS. I also was able to fit 15x8 with 275 60's on a 4.75" BS magnum. This is on a 66 Belvedere. 255 60's on a 15x8 rim with 4.375" BS will rub the outer lip on my car.

I really want the 275s on the rear, but may go 255 to be on the safe side.

repro mopar rallys, 15x8, with trim caps, center caps, and new lug nuts I can find under 700$ for the set delivered.

does that sound about right?

15x7.
275s used to be listed by a lot of tire manfacturers as ok for 7 inch.
Now almost all I think list for 7.5 minimum rim.
But guys have been running 275s on 7 inch rims for as long as drunk, fat chicks have been easy prey for high school guys at proms.
