they had similar vehicles to this back in the 50's. remember the autogyro???. cool idea but the government will never let this go into production for the masses. just a big fun toy.....cool toy....but i dont see this going into mass production. people cant drive on the roads without being drunk...on thier cell phone...putting on make up and what not...... do you think they are going to let some 16 year old girl operate one of these???? I DOUBT IT. I am an aircraft FREEEEEEK,,, i love anything that flies....and i would love to have one of these......not in my lifetime though.

The video said 1st deliveries were to be in 2011 & I wonder how much $$$$ ??, I wonder if that is a fact they were delivered in 2011 ??.. I think it would be pretty cool, but I'm pretty damn weary of most anyone, being able to fly, with out some extensive training, hopefully much more than getting a regular drivers license... Or we will have these dropping out of the sky right & left... I wonder if they would be subject to FAA laws, health physicals & aircraft logging & regular inspections ??, or if they would be considered ultra lights ??, or if you would have to take off & land at airports only ??... I do remember the original Car/plane deal it fizzled out pretty quick & I think, it had removable wings too, so you could drive it as just a car...

This takes up much less room in the garage, although I don't think the helmet would help much in the 'unlikely' event something went wrong.

You know, I can just see the potential for disaster here. Right now we only have a two dimensional world in which we worry about the lady that is putting on makeup, the guy shaving on the way to work or the kid texting. Do we really want to add three dimensions to this?
