Hi Guys,

I am building a 511 stroker from 400 block, so the question is when I order acc, mds, AC pump, and so on what would I look under to order parts. Would I look under the 400ci/6.6l or 7.2 or bigger, I don't know if I am explaining it right or not but Im sure some will understand. THX

So then it doesn't matter how much poney's and for headers should be the same bolt pattern. Thanks

Does anybody know or have used a place I might have to send my block out to get done, anywhere in the west, I am straight above Montana 9.5 hrs drive but will ship it, so idaho, montana, even seattle is not to bad. Thanks

No, all the bolt patterns mysteryously change when you do a stroker motor. You gotta fab up entirely new stuff.

So I need stroker done before I can order parts, hmmmmmm :confused3:

All the accessory parts, mounts etc. need to be for a 6.3ltr/383ci-6.6ltr/400ci Low deck B-Engine series, the heads, oil pan, oil pump, timing cover, are all the same bolt patterns on the 361-383-400-413-426-440, the intakes & distributors are different on a 413-426-440 RB Wedge than the 361-383-400 B Wedge {low deck}, some aftermarket stroker crank shafts will have an 8 bolt flywheel bolt pattern instead of a 6 bolt pattern that is stock on the majority of the B & RB blocks, except the 426ci Hemi's, you can use an oil pan from a Hemi or a 440 on a 383/400 B-Engine, just need to make sure it's for the correct body style A-B-C or E, harmonic dampers/balancers can be varied in diameter & thickness also, the crankshaft needs to be ordered for a B-Engine & the main bearings need to B turned down to the B-Engine spec, the counterweights need to be reduced to 7.25" max outside diameter, I usually have them turned to 7.125" max O/S Diameter, it's an easier balance job, more clearances & lighter weight to boot... Good luck & "I would highly suggest you buy a book" on "How To Build A Big Block Big Inch/Stroker Mopar Wedge" from someone like Mancini Racing, they will also have most all the parts & technical advice, you will ever need for most any Mopar Build also................ educate yourself first before you start buying any parts & especially expensive stroker parts....
