What INTAKE/MOTOR & TRANS combos are you guys using?

HiYa all, I bought a 62 Polara 500 that someone stuffed a 71-383 & a 727 into it just to "move it around". I'm looking for feed back on what you "62-65" guys are using for intakes/engines & transmissions now a days. Whats the best, reasonable, cost effective set up to improve this car? Probally would like a street/strip setup. I have been "out of the loop" on the 62-65 world for quite a while.View attachment 95974 Are the stock early ball & trunion trans worth re-building?
