What is a Hemi 4 speed worth?

I have been offered a 4 speed out of a Hemi for $1200. I have been told that it was rebuilt years ago and is ready to go (might need a light going over).

I don't know a lot about them but from what I gather it is a 18 spline and its all brass bushed and bad *** strong.

My car has a 4 speed in it but I don't know how it was built and the condition etc, would it be better to sell my 4 speed and buy the hemi one?

That is a fair price if it is as described. If you have a road car, maybe think about a 5 speed for highway gears?

I sold two recently that I completely went through. The 68 B body for $1500.00 and the 70 B/E body for $1800.00.
