What is the correct hood pin location and lanyard mount?

and trying not to scratch the fenders or the cowl ...not a problem with mine yet.
and trying to get four pin holes right...I'll have enough trouble with two, I think I'll stick with a bolt on.

^ I reckon he liked the looks of the lift-off six-pack hood but wanted to keep the hood he had? But if he was going for half of the 4-pin look, the correct placement for the front pins would have been about 3" from the front edge and 1" in from each side. The ones in the pic are basically reversed from what they should be.

not as bad as the ones someone put on mine. right thru the rad support, and didn't get the hood holes lined up, the pins are back at an angle.......no wonder I'm getting another hood.
