I'm working on piecing my '68 GTX (non-ralley dash) together, and I bought my car in a million pieces 43 years ago, so I don't have a pattern to follow and I personally didn't take it apart.

I have two of these in my pile of parts, not sure what they are. Heck, they might even be *ord parts. =(

Looks like slots for bulbs, with dark blue/green plastic lenses. I have the standard non-rally dash with rectangular speedometer, so don't think it's for the instrument cluster.

Any hints?

Thanks in advance!!

Michael

I cant ever remember seeing anything like that on any 68-69 GTX or RoadRunner.

Those are for an E-body Rallye dash. Here are some I've refurbished for my T/A Challengers:

70 Challenger has a slight curvature towards one side. 71-74 Challengers and 70-74 Cudas are mostly straight.

Those are for a 70 E body with a rally cluster... They mount above the cluster & lights fit in the four pockets... Non-rally would only have three pockets.. In 71 or 72 the light pockets changed..

Ok .... it's settled your going to buy an E body to put that part in
Dang it, I wish I still had one! I'm not really sure where my dash light panel came from, but I did own a 70 RT/SE (440-Auto), a 71 (318 - 2 bbl with a Ralley hood), and a 72 - 318 - 2 bbl that I drove for years in high school. I never took those cars apart, which is why the dash light part is a mystery. When it came down to it (about 25 years ago) I sold them all for a song because of life...but I did keep the original Hemi GTX, so probably made the right choice there, but still, an E-body would be COOL!

Lucky! They don’t reproduce those. I lost mine and finally found one on FEBO last week. I think I paid $150 for it.
