What other Car projects that are non Mopar does anyone have going on right now?

my 2000 dodge ram V10 i picked up. needed more work than i thought, but slowly getting her back in shape. V10 is a pulling machine but holy gas lords it loves fuel a lot. guys at work kept giving me **** if thats a mopar. so i slapped on some graphics to get the point across. plus new wheels an tires. everything on hold now all funds are going to the 70.

I bought a 2003 F 150 XLT "7700" regular cab , long bed w/ Triton 5.4 V8, and 4x4 today for $900.00. Got home after dark so no pics yet. Dark green w/ tan interior, fully loaded w/ pwr everything. Everything seems to work okay, drove it home 2 1/2 hours with zero issues. Needs some cancer therapy and a good cleaning though. And some new tires. The 5.4 V8 was replaced at the dealership with a factory rebuilt at 119,000. It has 169,000 on it now. Cost the previous owner $5600 bucks to get it done. That 7700 package is great! It's really an F 250LD XLT with a F 150 body on it. They just separated the two when they made the F 250 Super Duty and discontinued the F250 LD.

Turned out in needed a truck to use as a tow vehicle to drag my 65 A990 Net tribute car around for a frame straightening and some metal work.

my Neighbor gave me his old 77 F100 pick up. it had a seized up 5.0 so i rebuilt it with Trick Flow heads, Lunati Voodoo roller, 750 DP by Fuel Curve west, Probe forged pistons, Bill Miller roller rockers, Edelbrock performer RPM intake.

Cool rig for $900, good luck

'63 C10 Long bed. Excuse the messy barn (that's another story and it's tidier now). '79 C10 front clip completely rebuilt and fitted, '79 3:08 rear end and sort of sat in there is a 292 I6 w/5 sod for dry-build purposes. The perches are a bit of a pain so will make some up but I want it sat right first. The guys over on the '67-'72 forum have been patient and in some cases very helpful, posting perches and what-not over. It's a long term project which I'm in no rush to complete as I'm getting it exactly how I want it - as we all know, that means time and money :)

Over the last two days I have been repairing cab floors and rockers, unbolting the bed and tipping it off onto the ground. Also pulled the '02 up next to it and unbolted the wooden bed to transfer over to the '03. I noticed that I had left the steel bed floor, and also the cross frames for it, on the '02 and laid the wood over the steel floor. Since I removed the entire bed from the '03 I had to make up that 3 1/2 inches to clear the tank and whatnot. So I looked through my wood pile and came up with 6 4x4x5' posts and drilled and bolted them onto the frame of the '03. Now, i'll unbolt the steel bed floor from the '02 and cut off the cross frames and then fasten it in between the wood bed and the 4x4's. No sag that way when it's loaded. I built the wood bed about 6 inches short in height so this will help make it look a little better too. The wood bed is currently sitting up on edge next to the '03. I'll pull the tractor up tomorrow and lash it to the bucket and lift it up to sit it on the '03 bed. I tipped that heavy bastard off of there by hand today, forgot I owned a tractor. lol. I'm getting to old for this ****.

I was able to get the body off of the F1 yesterday. I found a good use for my welding skull cap. It keeps the raining debri out of my hair when I'm under this thing plus I have on my sealed goggles to keep junk out of the eyes.

I got my neighbors to help me lift the wood bed onto the back of the truck finally. Took it to Rutland and got it registered, plates, insurance. Next is inspection sticker. Put the old truck up on my buddy's lift and took all of the wheels and tires off to carry them down to the local garage to get the skins swapped over to the 7700's rims. Good all season tires with 2/3 of tread life left on them. Found out the right front wheel on the 7700 was slightly loose and had been slinging around against the studs for awhile. Wore the stud bodies down to half thickness. Yikes! Lucky I did not loose the wheel driving it home. Had new studs installed and now need to find another 7 lug rim for the spare. On the upside my pal who owns the garage had a look see at the 7700 from underneath and pronounced it drivable. lol. Today will be spent cleaning up the driveway and yard of all off the crap I took off of the 7700. The bed, liner, tailgate, and assorted bits and pieces on the ground, like screws and nails from inside the cab etc. It's raining and 34* right now but it's going to plummet later and freeze bigtime, then snow again, so I have to do it now or in the spring.

I retired my 1991 C2500 from service about 6 months ago. In the spring it's getting a new paint job (factory colours), the headliner repaired, and a few other little touch ups, like new rims with less offset.

I'm trying to decide if I want the complete factory look with all the trim or if I should get smooth bumpers and leave the lower trim and fender trim off.

It's hard to tell, but it does need new paint. It's got typical 90's paint, where all the clear and some of the paint is gone on the hood and roof.

I did take the bed liner out a few months ago though and there isn't a spot of rust under it. I also plan to remove the liner and put a bed rug under a tonneau cover.

I finally did a wheel and tire upgrade on my 63 Olds Starfire that I have been wanting to do for a long time. The wheels are 17 by 9 alloys from a 95 Chevy Impala SS with Z-rated Nitto 255-50-17 tires. These are a perfect fit on the car and clear everything but the problem was the original lug studs were too short for the thicker wheels and the left side studs were left hand thread like the earlier mopars. I finally paid a shop to switch out all the studs, now they are all right hand thread and the correct length. I mounted the wheels last week on a warm day.

Its got the original 394 Starfire engine with 345 hp, same basic v-8 as the original Olds Rocket from 1949. 63 was the second to last year for this design engine.

Sweet. Glad you kept it original. I had a 63 F-85 with an aluminum 215 V-8. I like those early 60s Olds and Buicks
