What rear end came with a 70 satellite??

Hi, just curious because I'm purchasing a 70 plymouth satellite 2 door hardtop and I asked if it had an 8 3/4 and he said he doesn't know what it is but he doesn't think it has an 8 3/4. I always thought b bodies only came with an 8 3/4 or the dana 60. Thanks in advance.

Could have been an 8 1/4 by that time. Dana 60 was offered in the 440 4 speed and Hemi cars.....and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Things were a changin by then......

Okay cool! So more than likely it'll be a 8 3/4. Now I just need to buy a sure grip chunk. Preferably with 3.91's but I'm not picky lol.

most of the 318 satellite's came with the 8 1/4.at least all the one's i've had or seen.

This is a 70 satellite with a 318 /904 combo. But I thought all 71 and older b bodies came with 8 3/4's?

Well that sucks. Well when I get it I'll see. I might end up looking for a 8 3/4 suregrip to swap in it. What do they normally go for?
