What to do with my '67 Charger

looked like and old lin. fender or ? thanks

Okay, after a lenghty conversation with my body/paint man/father, I am going to hang on to the car for a little while longer. Still frustrated that I can't drive the thing, but I know sometimes it takes time

with a little work ,gives you some thing to think even though this is a 66 but what is a tease for :headbang:

If it has sentimental value to you, my opinion is don't let it go. My 68 Runner has been sitting in it's current state since about 85 or so. I got to a point where I said heck with it and sold it in 05. It came back around for sale in 2012 and I bought it back. I ended up with less than I sold and paid 2K more than what I sold it for. I know I paid more than it's worth, but that sentimental stuff kicked in. It's not costing you anything right now but the storage space. You'll get back to it....

What is the difference between a charger and coronet rear bumper? I'm looking for anything in good condition that will bolt up.

To the best of my knowledge, the only difference is the backup lights are in the bumper on a Charger instead of on the trunk deck like a Coronet. I believe I have two sets of bumpers. Not sure of the exact condition, but I know there is nothing major wrong with them (Twisted, major dents, etc.)

The 1966-67 Chargers and 1967 Coronets have the same rear bumpers. The 1966 Coronet bumper is different.

Close enough for me. Pm me a phone number and we can set a time I could look at it and see if we can make a deal. I,m in Rosenberg.

cool another project thread in wings a waiting...LOL... body looks pretty solid, from those photos

Rear bumper is the same 67 only but the brackets are different both years.
As far as the first gen, I am a first gen owner and I have to tell you, when everything is working right this is the most comfortable and fun car I have ever driven. The interior is second to none. And as mentioned in a proviouse post, with the right wheels and color combination they are a great looking and underappreciated car.
I would also take a Hemi Charger over a RR(and I love RRs (no offense to RR folks). But I am happy just owning a 67 383. I'd keep it and just work on it when you can. 67interior.jpg67size800.jpg
