What torque converter to choose?

As said plenty of times, call a couple of companies and tell them about your combo and your goals. They’ll know best.

As long as you listed the combo, Ill voice that it would appear somewhat mis-matched. That short cam would benefit from a dual plane intake like the MP M1DP or Eddy RPM. The victor is a race piece that wants more cam (way more) more compression, more gear, basically more everything. It won’t be in its happy zone when your cam is and the huge plenum volume coupled with low compression will cause your car to be lazier than a fat kid at sunrise. Also, lose the 2” headers. They’re the only thing that matches the victor, and are also going to cost you torque big time. It’s torque that you need to move a big B Body. Your combo would be better served with 1-3/4” headers.

I know the OP didn’t ask for a combo critique, but I’m trying to help. The currently listed combo will disappoint.

My Dynamic 9-1/2 has treated me great for a number of years now.
I had a cheap ACC converter prior. It heated up, ballooned, and whacked the converter bolts against the backside of my block.
