What transmission to use

So,

This is an odd predicament. I purchased a transmission to replace my a833 18 spline

Builder promised quick delivery and after weeks of run around I eventually got a refund.

however in the interim of having paid for a new built manual I sold the old a833.

Currently I have no manual transmission and have lost interest along with minimal time to mess with the car. Consider running and driving cars sell best what should I do? Looking to keep it manual

I considered going t56 but I dont plan to keep the car and it seems like a lot of work to resell. Not really looking to rebuild anything either.

The issue is I won’t use passon, brewers is months out and eBay seems ...... untrustworthy. FB marketplace hasn’t netted me much luck within several hours

im in Waldorf. I’m pretty open to just putting a 727 in. A buddy has a good one. Wasn’t sure how much a pain it would be.

I mean an m21 are easily had but I haven’t really seen much on using one

Oh i know, i just see how the car will sell much easier and for more being able to be driven.

If you put a 727 in you will likely need a driveshaft, convertor, kick down linkage, cooler lines, radiator, shifter & linkage, flexplate & bolts, etc.
If I was in the market, I would rather buy it with no transmission

Honestly if I was in that predicament I'd buy a used 833 and slap it in. The closer you stay to what was in it the quicker, cheaper and easier it will be. Definitely don't do the T56, I did it and don't regret it one bit but it's a lot of added work and expense and will alienate a percentage of possible buyers. I'd start by putting a WTB add here on FBBO where you can at least vet the sellers.
