Fleshening up an old 71 Charger SE, just going to be a daily driver. 383 auto buckets with console. She's been setting for 34 years. She ought to be well rested and ready to do some burnouts.

Yup, they looked good so I think the magneto gave up the ghost. So cheep now that I didn't even dig out the meter to check it. Tracker says it will be here on Monday.

2007 VW 2.0T FSI valve-decarbonization. Stupid DGI engines. You would think they would make the intake easier to take off if you have to do this maintenance in a regular interval. Got it done though and can put it on (or off) in under a hour now that I know which tools actually work for the job.

Steering column replacement, and headlight wiring harness with h/l switch on my younger son's newly-acquired 1987 GMC Sierra 1500 longbed 4x2.

63 Belvedere Wagon. Trying to get it reliable. Power steering pump from a donner, Compression test and Leak down test with headers ( not fun ) LOF was 2 qts over full. Set timing and set carbs, this is a dual quad 383. Nick Nack paddy Wack. T-Stat and housing, Had RTV no gasket WTF?
Fixed the throttle pedal ,missing 2 of 3 bolts. Now I have full throttle. !0 inch Drums are a hard left, will go to Discs with some more $$$. Needs a total front end rebuild. So far it is fast but like a Corvair Unsafe at any Speed.

Oh man, it is so bad, I do not know how the VW mechanics stand doing it. They wanted $900 to literally just clean the back of the valves. Needed multiple torq sokets and the extra-special "triple square" only used by VW and Porsche. Thank god for harbor freight and amazon! LOL
