What's for dinner (lunch)?

No, I have not. I keep seein them things in the LMM lines at the grocery store...threatened to try one but never have.

You don't even really need a holder for the bird, although it makes it a bit more stable. Traditionally it's done on a grill, but you can cook 'em in an oven just as easily.

I'm telling ya, cooking a whole bird with this much ease is a pretty magical thing. And it gives you a good excuse to buy beer!

Cooked bratwurst on the grill today, wife made sauerkraut and potato salad thats a meal and a half.

You're suppose to thaw it out first!!!? :hello2::headbang::icon_fU:
You're also supposed to only fill it up enough so the bird doesn't displace the oil on the fire. I don't think the frozen turkey even hit the oil before the flames erupted.

Right! A buddy of mine nearly made that mistake. Arrived a bit early and he was about to stick the bird in and I stopped his dumb ***. Told him to look at the bird and then look at the oil level. It actually took him a minute to figure it out lol. Also, I never cook near the house. I have a 25x25 carport out behind the shop that I cook under and there's always plenty of things around here to put fires out with but so far, so good. And I'm cheap....only use enough oil to cover what I'm cooking. The stuff just isn't cheap anymore :D

Thats one of my favorite dinner time meals there, and especially this time of year with a ripe tomato going with it..

Rusty, you ever cook beer can chicken? Easiest way to cook a bird that I know of. I even cooked a turkey beer can style for Thanksgiving one year... came out great and no turning or basting required.
One of these?

According to my wife dinner is the larger of the two meals served either around noon or the evening meal. If the small meal was served at noon it is called lunch, if it is the large meal it is called dinner. If the evening meal is the smaller meal of the two it is supper otherwise it is dinner.

We are having a BMT at Subway on Italian herb and cheese bread with shredded cheese, spinach, tomatoes, onions, yellow peppers, double amount of black olives, lots of black pepper, oil and vinegar.
