Whats the biggest/widest tire that will fit a stock 63 POLARA?

What is the biggest/ widest 15 inch tire/ rim that will fit under your 63 Polara/ Any good pics to give me an idea? I plan on using a form of TQs, probably one of summits brand for my 63 convertible.

15x8 with 4 1/2 back space will fit nicely, also 275/60/15.

I had a 29.5 x 11.5 drag radial under my 63 Sport Fury. It fit but rubbed on turns so I went to a 30 x 9 that has room to spare. Ron

These are Hoosier 29.5 x 11.5 on my 63 Ply. The actual tread is about 10.5 as they say the 11.5 is the width. Ron

These are the Hoosier 30 x 9 slicks. Sorry I dont really have any good close up pics of the rear wheelwells. But my wheelwells are stock and the springs are in the stock location. Ron

How big are the fronts? I also have a 63 Polara and would like to put as big a tire up front as I can without changing too much. I've read 225/60 and maybe 235/60, anyone else?

I have 225 75R 15 in front and 295 60R 15 in back (with at least 1" on each side to spare, stock wheel wells/ suspension)

no not really, cuz of the front skinnies I dont do alot of hard cornering.

sizes are going to differ depending if your springs are moved in or not.
