What car is worth buying even if you had to sell your house to afford it?
A pig farmer that sells pigs to buy pig feed isn't going to be a pig farmer for long.
I'd rather have my home than a car with no place to safely park it or to work on it.

X2. I did just that so Theresa and I could purchase our first home. I sold my Dart and bought the house 6 months before we got married, was it worth it, damn right it was. Now, I'd be willing to pay twice what that house cost to get it back. Times have changed....

There's a season for everything. When I finally bought the Demonstrator, it cost over three times what I got for the Chrysler 300F when I sold it for the down payment on the current house. I felt I got a bargain.

I'm in luck because I have 2 houses.
I inherited the house I grew up in when my father passed away, I think he paid 50k in 1970 and it just appraised for 330k so I think I would like a 1969 Dodge Daytona.
Problem is my dad would roll over in his grave if he found out I had paid that much for a car !
